100% of donations go to scholarships. The Sierra Family Scholarship welcomes donations. We currently award two $500 scholarships a year, but hope to award more as we receive more donations. Donations are tax write-offs since the scholarships are bestowed by the Miami Mini-Canes, a 501 (c) (3) organization founded by María and Horacio Sierra for their volunteer work managing and coaching girls softball teams.
